Initiation to wild picking
Come and try your hand at wild gathering, following in the footsteps of Jean-Jacques Rousseau, who stayed at Château de La Vigne. We’ll be herb-hunting together in front of the magnificent panorama of the Monts du Cantal. You’ll learn the rules of picking, the medicinal and culinary properties of the plants that grow at your feet, and what to look out for.

Guided tour of the castle
Follow the guide and discover this medieval castle. Climb the main staircase to the top of the keep and admire the “studiolo”. The rest of the tour takes you through the living and reception rooms, and on to the Gothic castral chapel, not forgetting the exhibition in the battlements.

Costumed tour
Children (and older children!) can follow the tour in costumes hired from reception: princess, knight, musketeer… Our costumed tours are suitable for groups and families, and offer a fun and educational experience!
